The number of participants in this short course is limited to 25.
The purpose of the course is to shed light on numerical methods to approximate reaction-convectiondiffusion equations. We are interested in finite difference, finite volume and finite element schemes. In particular, we focus on a Two Points Flux Approximation (TPFA) finite volume scheme to approximate the solutions of the two incompressible and immiscible phases in a Darcian flow on general meshes. The proposed finite volume scheme is numerically stable for high transport phenomena.
