Abdullah M. Alqubalee
Engineer I, CIPR
Abdullah Alqubalee possesses experience in both industry and academia and is currently supervising the Automated Mineralogy Laboratory at CPG KFUPM. In his role, he operates and maintains automated mineralogy equipment and performs mineralogical analyses on a variety of samples. Additionally, he works as a researcher in sedimentology and reservoir characterization within the Geosystem Research Group. In his research, he investigates various geological formations to understand the quality of reservoirs, aquifers, and storage systems. He has completed many research projects and published numerous articles that focus on diagenesis and the factors that influence reservoir, aquifer, and storage quality. His research provides valuable insights into how geological processes shape both the surface and subsurface, as well as how these processes impact the quality and availability of resources.
