The “𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘&𝗣 – 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗟” workshop, hosted by KFUPM, will take place in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, from 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟴-𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. This premier event will convene a diverse community of industry professionals, AI experts, and leading researchers and academicians to explore the transformative potential of AI and machine learning in shaping the future of exploration and production in the oil & gas and mining sectors.
This 4-day event features a rich program including the following elements.

A 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 providing an in-depth introduction to AI/ML applications in Exploration & Production, offering valuable insights into data-driven decision-making and predictive modeling.
A 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 featuring finalists from universities around the world presenting AI/ML approaches to real-world domain challenges.
On February 9th, the public portion of the program continues with 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 from global experts at the forefront of AI/ML and its intersection with industry and research.
The program for Feb 10th and 11th is by invitation only and includes:
