As a Senior Media and System Analyst at CPG, I leverage my expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and digital media to empower research and education within the College of Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences (CPG). I spearheaded the integration of operational processes into LIMS, establishing new functionalities and optimizing workflows. Through collaboration with multiple departments, I ensured data integrity and system validation while contributing to corporate LIMS management. My commitment to efficiency extends to streamlining laboratory procedures, creating SOPs within the LIMS Laboratory Execution System (LES), and maintaining comprehensive operating documentation. I actively analyze data to formulate ad-hoc reports and key performance indicators, driving informed decision-making. As a selected author and presenter at IPTC 2020, I championed CPG’s digital transformation journey, sharing insights on optimizing laboratory operations through LIMS implementation. My passion lies in bridging the gap between technology and scientific advancement, and I thrive in environments where innovation plays a central role.

Beyond LIMS, I’m the architect behind the CPG website and social media channels, and I’m at the forefront of content development via photography, videography, and poster design.

Before hired by CPG, KFUPM as an IT Specialist, Eng. Ahmed had spent good years of his professional life in the employ of reputable communications outfits like Convergent Technology Est., Axizo Co. and Paltel Co. He sustained his career path by being a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and receiving intensive courses on Low Current Systems and Android Applications Development Toolkits. In addition, he holds memberships with Jordan Engineers Association, Palestine Engineers Association, and Engineers without Borders Association.

A professional Electronics Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the Operation & Maintenance, installation, and project implementation of AV, Broadcasting and low current System. Before joining CPG I spent 5 years with Modern Media System as a Broadcasting System Technician, 9 years with Asharqia Chamber of Commerce as AV Supervisor & 6 years with WIPRO Arabia Ltd as Project Engineer

Randy is employed as an eLearning Operator at CPG and has over nine years of working experience as a Technical Installations Operator in the telecommunication industry. During this time, he has accumulated an in-depth technical knowledge of audio-visual and security systems such as Access Control, Burglary, Fire, Heat and Smoke Detecting Modules, CCTV and DVR Systems, High-Quality Video Recording and Teleconferencing Systems.

Before joining CPG, Randy spent two years as a technician with Nesma Trading Co., two years as an Audio-visual Technician with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, KSA, three years as an Audio-visual Communications Technician for Electronic Integrated Systems Inc., KSA, and started working as a Telephone Technician for LM United Telephone Co. Inc., South Centro in The Philippines.

Mohammad is skilled Audio Video and IT Engineer with over thirteen years of Experience in AV and IT Systems covering the areas of; Design, Installation, Integration, Configuration, Final Testing and Team Management, Customer Support. Server, SQL, NAS, Networking, Desktop, Laptop, and LAN technologies. Currently supporting digital facilities at CPG.

Rashid Joined SRACO in June 2016 as an E-Learning Assistant to serves King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has around 10 Yrs of experience in the IT industry and managed a successful role for various positions like IT System Engineer, IT Support Officer, Sr. Desktop Support Engineer, for various accounts in ICAD Saudi Arab Jeddah, Convergent Technology khobar KSA, and Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Com LTD (India). He has handled operations very well and appreciated by the customer as well.
Rashid has received fully certified training from Microsoft following an advance Diploma in Computer Hardware Networking + MCSE & CCNA, from Oxford Software Institute South Ex New Delhi and a Training Diploma in A+, N+, MCSE and CCNA from NetKing India.
