Dr. Mohammad Sarim Jamal

Instructor, Department of Petroleum Engineering

Dr. Mohammad Sarim Jamal joined as an Instructor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at CPG in 2024. Previously he worked as Post Doctoral researcher in the same department from 2020-2023 where his research focused on developing data-driven proxy models for transport in subsurface porous media. Dr. Jamal holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from KFUPM, awarded in 2018. His doctoral research centered on the development of innovative numerical techniques aimed at significantly reducing simulation runtimes in Karst reservoirs. He has over a decade of experience in teaching and research.
