Dr. Mohamed Elmuzafar Ahmed

Post-Doc Researcher, Department of Petroleum Engineering

Mohamed Elmuzafar has a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering from KFUPM. He is experienced in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) related research, especially Surfactant polymer applications, starting from fluid evaluation and characterization such as phase behavior, compatibility, rheology, and interfacial tension up to determining the fluid recovery using core flooding as well as using reservoir simulation. For the pore-scale studies, he performed micro-CT imaging, micromodels with a microscope, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Also, he has good skills in performing simulation studies at the field scale with calibrated core scale simulations.
