Dr. Ben Mansour Dia

Research Scientist III, CIPR

Ben received M.Sc. and Master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics from Gaston Berger University and then Ph.D. in 2012.  His doctoral studies had been taken place jointly at Gaston Berger University and at the Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm.  He joined CPG in October 2017 as Research Scientist III. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Raul Tempone at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology).  His work, at KAUST, is centered on stochastic optimal control, Bayesian Experimental Design, and is applied to a wide range of engineering problems like EOR, failures detection in composite materials, and Social Interactions.
