Geosciences Graduate Programs

The Department of Geosciences at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) provides a well-rounded education to the earth sciences majors with a particular focus on geology, geophysics, and environmental sciences.

Students enrolled in Geosciences Programs are exposed to state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms, field camps, internships, and computational facilities. The Goesciences curricula are geared towards graduating competent geologists, geophysicists, and environmental scientists who can effectively contribute to exploring and protecting the Kingdom’s natural resources, including hydrocarbons, groundwater, and minerals.
