Geosciences Graduate Programs

The Geosciences Department at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) provides a well-rounded education to the earth sciences majors with particular focus on geology, geophysics, and environmental sciences.

Students enrolled in Earth Sciences Programs are exposed to the state-of-the-art laboratories, classrooms, field camps, internships, and computational facilities. The Earth Sciences curricula are geared towards graduating competent geologists, geophysicists, and environmental scientists who can effectively contribute in exploring and protecting the Kingdom’s natural resources, including hydrocarbons, groundwater, and minerals.
